Locked In
The 4 Main Trails
These are happening. No debate, no substitutions.

Delicate Arch Trail
The trail everyone has to do at least once. Exposed slickrock switchbacks lead to the most iconic arch in the American West. Go early or at sunset for the best light and fewer crowds.
Bring 2L of water minimum. Zero shade on the trail. Start early.
Mesa Arch Trail
Short but absolutely stunning. Mesa Arch sits on the canyon rim and frames the entire Canyonlands below. Do it at sunrise — the arch glows orange like molten lava. Do NOT skip this.
Set your alarm. Arrive 30 min before sunrise. Easy 0.5mi from parking.
Cliff Palace
The largest cliff dwelling in North America. You drive to the overlook and hike down into the alcove with a ranger. 150 rooms, 23 kivas, carved straight into the canyon wall 800 years ago.
Arrive by 12:00–12:30 sharp. Ranger tours fill fast. Book tickets ahead.
Lighthouse Trail
The crown jewel of Palo Duro — the Grand Canyon of Texas. The trail winds through clay hoodoos and colorful canyon walls straight to the iconic Lighthouse spire. Lunch here Saturday.
Great for MTB too. Clay gets slick when wet — check forecast night before.
Also On the Table — MTB Options
Slickrock Trail
Legendary grippy sandstone above the canyon rim.
Porcupine Rim
Exposed rim trail with 3,000 ft descent into Castle Valley.
Chicken Corners
Insane 4x4 / MTB trail hugging the canyon rim with zero guardrails. Perfect for the Sequoia AND bikes. Not for the faint of heart.
Caprock Canyons
64-mile Caprock Trailway through stunning Texas canyon country.
Don't Skip These
Scenic Rest Stops
The spots between the rides that make this trip legendary.

Delicate Arch
The symbol of Utah. 3-mile round trip hike to the most photographed arch in the world. Try to catch sunset here — absolutely unreal.
Pro tip: Bring extra water, exposed trail with zero shade.
Under Canvas Moab
The Toyota off-road event in Moab — and you're showing up in a TRD Pro Sequoia. Technical red rock trails, obstacles, and guided runs with other Toyota builds. This is what the rig was made for.
Airing down to ~20 PSI on the rocks makes a huge difference. Bring MaxTrax just in case.
Mesa Arch at Sunrise
Set your alarm. Mesa Arch at first light is one of the greatest natural light shows in the American Southwest. The arch glows like molten lava.
Arrive 30 min before sunrise. Easy half-mile hike from parking.
Sandia Peak Tramway
World's longest aerial tramway. Ride up to 10,378 ft above Albuquerque and watch the city lights spread across the Rio Grande valley below.
Go at sunset — the drive from Dallas arrives just in time.
Nights 1 & 2 — April 13–14
Where We're Crashing
Not a tent from REI — a luxury glamping tent with a view of Arches National Park. We earned this.

Under Canvas Moab
13784 North Highway 191, Moab, UT
The Lowdown
Located on 40 acres of open desert land, these tents offer spectacular views of Arches National Park just 3 miles away. Luxury tents include a private bathroom, shower, sink, lounge area with a sofa bed, and a private patio deck — the ultimate basecamp after a day of sending it on the trails.
Amenities
Moab, UT — April 13–14
The Rides
6 trails. Every difficulty level. Two days to send as many as you can.

Slickrock Trail
The trail that put Moab on the map. Nearly the entire route is ridden on bare Navajo sandstone — the grip is unlike anything else on earth. Exposed, technical, and completely addictive.
Do the practice loop first. No shame — even pros do it.
Porcupine Rim
The most epic ride in Moab. A massive exposed rim trail above Castle Valley that ends with a 3,200 ft descent to the Colorado River. Views that will ruin every other trail for the rest of your life.
Shuttle required. Save something in the tank — the descent at the end is rowdy.
The Whole Enchilada
The Tour de France of mountain biking. Starts at 11,000 ft on alpine singletrack and descends over 7,000 vertical feet through every terrain type Moab has to offer. A bucket list ride.
Plan for 5–7 hours. Carry everything you need — no bail-out points.
Captain Ahab
The best intermediate trail in Moab, full stop. Flowy singletrack, some slickrock, tight corners — pure fun from start to finish. A great tune-up ride before the big days.
Run it as a shuttle with Hymasa for a full Moab Brand loop day.
Navajo Rocks Loop
Classic Moab mix — slickrock domes, sandy washes, and open desert. A perfectly self-contained loop with enough technicality to keep it interesting without destroying your legs for the next day.
Great morning warm-up ride. Out and back on Hwy 313.
Bar M Loop
The perfect shake-out ride. Wide open desert doubletrack with stunning canyon views and near-zero technical challenge. Ideal for Day 1 legs or a sunset cruise after arriving in Moab.
Bring the camera. Big open sky views the whole way around.
